The story moves to France during the French Revolution. Players will recognize Richter Belmont. He is a descendant of Trevor and Sypha from the first series. Richter fights against a rising vampire empire. This threat aims to control humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, joins the fight. She is also a vampire hunter.
Powerhouse Animation returns to produce the show. Kevin Kolde acts as showrunner. Clive Bradley writes the series. Samuel and Adam Deats direct the animation. Fans will hear familiar voices. The original voice cast is coming back for this new chapter.
The new series builds on the success of the first “Castlevania” show. That show was very popular. It ran for four seasons on Netflix. Sony Pictures Television is excited about this next step. They promise more action and adventure. The animation style stays consistent with the earlier seasons.
